Antique French porcelain and ormolu clock set by Raingo Freres a Paris. The rectangular case with decorative pillars to the front corners, a stepped base and curved pediment surmounted by a painted porcelain urn, with nine turquoise porcelain panels to the case decorated with raised gilt-work, with a further panel within the arch depicting a lady in a field and another below depicting a shepherd and shepherdess at rest, the panels to the sides decorated with musical themes. Together with a pair of tazzas having matching porcelain panels. The eight-day duration movement striking the hours and half-hours on a bell with an outside countwheel, the white enamel dial signed Raingo Freres a Paris, with gilt Roman numerals, brass moon hands and a turquoise surround. The ormolu on both clock and tazzas is spectacular and 100% original. France circa 1880-90. 16 inches high by 7.5 inches wide by 4 inches deep ( 40 cm by 18.75 cm by 10 cm) The tazzas 8.5 inches high by 7.5 inch maximum width and maximum depth 5 inches ( 21.25 cm by 18.75 cm by 12.5 cm).
