Egyptian Revival English desk standish in gilt and patinated bronze. Fine Egyptian sphinx set on the top of the inkwell cover. Masks to each side of the inkwell holder and all set upon four sphinx feet. English circa 1880. 15 inches wide by 8.75 inches high by 8 inches deep ( 37.5 cm by 21,875 cm by 20 cm).
