Italian silver gilt and enamel card case with fine watercolour. Beautifully engraved silver case with exceptional silver work on the bottom. The top and sides are mottled with enamel made to look like turquoise with silver flowers and foliage between. A central cartouche of silver encloses a fine watercolour of a couple in an arcadian scene with ruins and sheep. Stamped 'Silver' with silver content mark 800, 'made in italy' and further stamp, likely makers mark. Italian circa 1890.
