Antique ivory and gilt bronze mounted letter opener. Still with its gilt tooled exterior and satin interior box. The lovely ivory has good colour and the gilt bronze mounts that make up the handle are of outstanding quality. The mounts with thir original gilding are of crosed ribbons with Acanthus, Laurel and Amthemion. Perfect condition. French circa 1900. 8.5 inches long ( 21.25 cm).
