Antique English Regency bronze of a lion carrying a baby around in its mouth by the baby's leg. Set upon a rectangular patinated bronze base with fine stiff leaf and dart decoration. The very well modelled lion with full mane and expressive face. England circa 1820. 4.5 inches wide 2.75 inches deep and 2.75 inches high ( 11.25 cm by 6.875 cm by 6.875 cm).
