Antique English ormolu mantel clock in the manner of Cole but by Barry of London with signed carved limewood dial. An exquisite case with excellen engraving and original gilding. Most unusual dial being of carved limewood and this is also signed. The 8 day movement with fine English lever escapement is signed on a cartouche to the backplate of the movement. The strut is also engraved as is the original ormolu key. London, England, circa 1860.
