Antique French Boulle 4 piece desk set. Comprising a large A4 blotter, a boulle paperweight, a candle holder and a large boulle inkwell with crystal inkwell to the centre. Boulle is the cutting of patterns into alternate layers of brass and wood or brass and tortoiseshell and then inserting one pattern of brass into the opposite of wood. Lovely condition. France circa 1880. Blotter 12 inches by 9 inches ( 30 cm by 22.5 cm). Inkwell. 10 inch diameter by 6.5 inches high ( 25 cm by 16.25 cm). Candleholder. 5 inch diameter by 3.5 inches high ( 12.5 cm by 8.75 cm). Paperweight 5.5 inches wide by 4 inches deep by 2.5 inches high ( 13.75 cm by 10 cm by 6.25 cm.
