Fine antique gilt bronze of horse and rider attacked by a lion. The gilt bronze sculpture probably Italian, late 18th century. Ormolu appears to be original. Set on a later onyx base but with good paw feet. 10.5 inches high by 13 inches wide by 7 inches deep ( 26.25 cm by 32.5 cm by 17.5 cm).
