A gorgeous Andre -Antoine Ravrio French Empire patinated bronze and ormolu urn. This is in the form of a classical Greek wine ewer but still further refined. Set on a square base with ormolu rim and leaf shaped ormolu cup to the body of the vase. Supremely elegant urn sweeps up to elegant spout. Superb ormolu handle of the finest quality in the form of a cockeral's head over the back of the spout falling down via a flower. To the sides are two ormolu mounts of eagles in flight, with an Acanthus flower in bloom on the front, whilst under the stem is an extremely well cast mount of a man, possibly the Green man, whilst on the other side is a mount featuring a leaf.
