Antique and extremely unusual Victorian silver carriage clock in form of a pound weight. This attractive novelty clock is in excellent condition and is hallmarked for London 1879. It has shutters on the back of the clock for winding and regulation. It has an 8 day movement with lever escapement. The dial is signed Thornwill London almost certainly for William Thornhill. 3.5 inches high by 2 inches wide and 2 inches deep ( 8.75 cm by 5 cm by 5 cm).
