Antique French Napoleon III glass and gilt bronze centrepiece . Set on a square gilt bronze base with bracket feet in the form of cornucopia. To the centre of the base is a raised circular socle on which three cupids stand with both hands raised to hold aloft a very fine circular ormolu rim of vine leaves all in the manner of Thomire. Set in the ormolu vine band is a fine cut crystal bowl. France circa 1870. 13 inches high, the glass with 8 inch diameter and the base 6 inches square ( 32.5 cm by 20 cm by 15 cm).
