A most unusual silver and guilloche enamel sub miniature carriage clock. The case or arched form with bracket feet. Silver engine turned with a brickwork pattern and with fields of purple enamel overlaid. All purple fiels bordered with a silver line and then a further band of green guilloche enamel. Pretty enamel dial with gilt star to centre, Roman numeral hour markers in black and gilt hands. 8 day, 3/4 plate movement with lever escapement. Brushed gilt backplate with serial number1059.
