Antique cloissonee enamel and gilt bronze French mantle clock with fine enamel painted scene.
In Louis XVth rococco style the gilt bronze clock case is covered in fine cloissonnee enamel in blues reds, greens and white on the three sides while the back of the case has geometric patterns in the bronze.
To the front of the case is a fine painted enamel scene of Psyche and Cupid..
The pretty dial is of convex white enamel and has very pretty gilt bronze Louis XVIth style hands.
The movement is of eight day duration and is regulated by a platform lever escapement.
