A really beautiful antique four glass clock set in original ormolu and rouge marble in outstanding condition and of Loiuis XVIth style.
Set on four ormolu reeded bun feet the rouge marble base with inset ormolu mounts to all four sides and the top moulding with beading.
The ormolu frame with inset bevelled glass and ormolu mounts of fruit and foilage to the front and sides. The clock surmounted by a rouge marble urn decorated with floral swags and surmounted by a finial in ormolu of fruit and flowers.
White convex enamel dial signed Julien Leroy a Paris. Hour chapters seperated by hand painted swags of flowers and the time told by finely cast and chased gilt bronze hands.The movement is an eight day bell striking movement with a beautiful visible pendulum with an ormolu sunburst bob.
The two sidepieces are three branch candelabra with a parcel gilt patinated bronze figure holding them up and set on an omolu mounted rouge marble column in turn set on a sqaure rouge marble base.

18.25 inches high by 9.25 inches wide by 6.25 inches deep ( 45.6 cm by 23 cm by 15.6 cm), sidepieces 17.5 inches high by 4.5 inches square at the base ( 43.75 cm by 11.25 cm).
