Antique Italian Grand Tour pair of patinated and gilt bronze tazza set on Sienna marble bases. These very elegant tazzas are set on rectangular Sienna marble bases the ormolu tazzas stand upon a waisted foot with Acanthus leaf and dart moulding. The gilt bronze dishes are reeded and have fine patinated bronze handles to each side with stylised swans heads lying along the edge of the dish and further decorated with Amthemion and Acanthus. Italian circa 1860. 10 inches wide by 3.25 inches deep and 5 inches high ( 25 cm by 8.125 cm by 12.5 cm).
