A very fine Swiss silver and lilac grey guilloche enamel miniature travel clock retailed by Aspreys and in its original Aspreys green leather and silk lined case. The rectangular case with light lilac grey sunburst guilloche enamel, the stepped block feet with foliate scrolls. The 3.5cm white enamel dial signed ASPREY, black Roman numerals, gold dot minute index and blued steel spade hands. The interior of the case gilt, the case stamped J T C within a double lozenge, G.C.Co. and numbered 10546 by the Geneva Clock Co. retailed by Asprey & Co., , import marked for London 1924, sponsor`s mark of Stockwell & Co. (George Stockwell). The Swiss 8 day timepiece movement with lever platform escapement, 11 jewel bimetallic split balance, flat balance spring and integral winding key, the plain backplate with a steel winding mechanism, blued steel screws and signed JTC within a double lozenge, no. 56622. 2.5 inches high (6.25 cm) high in a green leather covered lined travel case from Asprey, 166 Bond St., London, 3.375 inches high ( 8.5 cm ).
