Swiss silver and blue guilloche enamel umbrella clock in original case. It is unusual to find an umbrella clock with undamaged enamel. It is still more rare to find one in its original case. Superb quality enamel beautifully decorated in sky blue enamel over concentric wavy lined circles within the hour marked circle and basket weave without. The chapters are marked with beautifull quality gilt arabic numerals covered by enamel. Gilt bronze hands. The reverse side is just as good with enamel in excellent order with the concentric circles over the movement housing and basket weave to the edge. The handle is original and is used to wind the clock and also to set the time. Four separate silver marks stamped into the clock. "Swiss made, Depose, numbered 1152 twice, 935 three times, star mark for Swiss silver and one small solitary star of David stamp. Fine original four piece case lined with satin and velvet. Swiss circa 1925-30. 3.5 inch diameter ( 8.75 cm).
