Poesie, antique carved white marble and gilt bronze mounted bust by Prof. Antonio Garella. A wonderful and very beautiful Italian Art Nouveau marble bust of a young woman in two tone marble mounted on a marble vert base. She has been beautifully sculpted so that she looks lovely from every angle that she is viewed from. She has a wreath of gilt leaves around her head. Signed in the marble Prof. Garella. Titled Poesie on bronze plaque to front of base. Circa 1900. Height 14 inches by 16 inches wide by 7 inches deep ( 35 cm by 40 cm by 17.5 cm).
