Antique mid 19th century gilt bronze strut clock in the style of Cole. Original gilding and very fine engraving make this a most attractive clock. The pierced ormolu frame gives a very light feeling while there is a beautiful contrast between the beautifully engraved ormolu mask surrounding the white enamel dial. The original glass is bevelled. The movement is of fine quality. English, Circa 1860.
