Wonderful mint condition enamel of beautiful colour and design, covering the sides, dome top and front. The Imperial Yellow enamel with black enamel and silver work is over painted with swags of roses to front top and sides. A most unusual marble base making use of "Tiger's Eye" a quartz chatoyant gemstone. Never seen it used on a sub-miniature clock before and it is beautifuly cut and completely original. Perfect white enamel dial with roman hour numerals and outer minute band. Gold hands. Fine 8 day 3/4 plate movement with vertical lever escapement Stamped on back door, London silver import mark for 1922, serial number 9689.
