Fine antique early 19thC. True pair of ormolu, patinated bronze, fleurospar and white marble figural candelabra. Set upon a fine square white marble base with fine ormolu rope twist. The column of fleurospar of superb colour and veining, and held by a white marble collar. The patinated bronze figure of a child stands upon an ormolu naturalistic base. He holds the ormolu candelabra in both hands.The very elegant candle holders are on arms to the left and right of a central stem with a fine "berry" finial. Beautiful quality and with original gilding and patination. Probably English circa 1795-1800. 18inches high by 11 inches wide and 4 inches square at the base ( 45 cm by 27.5 cm by 10 cm).
