Antique French Charles X period patinated bronze of a Racehorse on rectangular bronze base. A beautifully modelled sculpture of a standing racehorse, saddled and ready to race. Very fine detail and lovely patination to the bronze which has evidence of a little bleeding in the right places and exactly what one would expect of a bronze nearly two hundred years old. Perfect condition, circa 1825, France. 11.5 inches high by 12.125 inches wide and 4.125 inches deep ( 28.75 cm by 30.3 cm by 10.3 cm), base 10.75 inches wide by 4.125 inches deep ( 26.875 cm by 10.3 cm).
