Antique French Industrial series Horizontal Boiler timepiece and weather station by Guilmet. A beautiful piece in extremly good condition, silvered, gilt and patinated bronze on a black marble base. The contrasts contribute to this wonderfully stylish piece. The automaton part of flywheel, governor and drives are powered by a massive independent movement within the boiler itself. There is an eight day key wind movement to the left and an aneroid barometer to the right. Between these is a thermometer. The attention to detail on this piece is extraordinary.
