Antique silver gilt and deep coral guilloche enamel 8 day miniature carriage clock. A fabulous case in mint condition, no marks or repairs to any of the enamel panels which are outlined in silver and white enamel lines..
The dial panel with radiating engine turning from the centre of the panel under coral guilloche enamel. The white enamel dial with black Arabic numerals and gold hands is signed below 12 o'clock " Appay 24 Rue de la Paix Paris". The dial is surrounded by a glazed bezel of marcasites. There are marcasites in the form of a floral swag below the dial and marcasites in the upper spandrel corners.
The 8 day movement with lever escapement is stamped JTC for the Geneva Watch Co and numbered 55622 and Swiss Made. It has an integral key.
The case bears French silver marks.
