Silver strapwork case with bun feet and silver piquet swags and musical trophies to the front panel. Eight day timepiece movement with platform lever escapement. Fine white enamel dial with blued steel hands. Hallmarked for London 1905 for William Comyns, the pre-eminent maker of objects of silver piquet inlaid into tortoiseshell in the late victorian and Edwardian period. 4.75 inches high by 2.5 inches wide and 2.25 inches deep ( 11.8 cm by 6.25 cm by 5.6 cm).
