Antique French pair of gilt bronze tazzas. Standing on a spreading circular foot the tazza bowl is decorated in high relief to the sides with putti on one side with bows and arrows, birds and a hunting hound. On the other side four more putti with fish and fowl, arrows, a trident and fishing nets. The underneath of the tazza bowls are decorated with butterflies and birds among foilage. To each side of the tazza are acanthus decorated handles. Stamped to each base MF. France circa 1880-90. 5.25 inches high by 7.25 inches wide by 5 inches deep ( 13.2 cm by 18.2 cm by 12.5 cm).
