Pretty Edwardian silver miniature carriage clock by Mappin and Webb, London. Hallmarked for London 1907. Exceptionally fine 8 day movement by the Geneva Watch Company.
Rectangular case with a rectangular swing handle and set on four bun feet.
The outer edge of front, back, top and side panels have a border of entwined ivy. The bezel and the handle have the same.
The perfect white enamel dial with Roman hour numerals and blued steel spade hands.
The movement with platform lever escapement and integral winding key is stampred JTC within a diamond lozenge for the Geneva Watch Company. It is numbered 54634 and is stamped "Swiss Made".
The case is hallmarked for Mappin and Webb London 1907 on the base, the back door and the handle.
