Antique Italian engraved silver and enamel card case. A really lovely card case with fine engraving on the underside. Lovely floral design of flowers bound with ribbon around all sides. To the top outside edge a wave pattern. To the top is a further floral border in silver which forms a frame in which a photo orenamel could be placed. The space between the outer top edge and the inner has superb convex enamel simulating malachite and is immaculate and beautiful. Italian circa 1890. Width 3.25 inches by depth 2.5 inches by 0.375 inches high ( 8.13 cm by 6.25 cm by 0.94 cm).
