A fine true pair of patinated bronze, ormolu and white marble figural candelabra in excellent condition. Set upon a white marble base, with ormolu swags surrounding the marble. The putti sit upon rocks, holding up the three branch stems, which are stylised as flowers. Beautiful quality and with original gilding and patination. An identical model but with five branches instead of three can be seen in "Les Bronzes du Mobilier National 1800-1870" pp 292, which were made by the firm Deniere & Fils in 1844.
