An attractive small Portico clock in Ormolu and patinated bronze by the German clockmaking firm Lenzkirch. Lenzkirch started making clocks in 1849 and continued until 1932. Attractive white enamel dial with engine turned gilt bronze centre, and bezel. Ormolu is entirely original. Movement is an 8 day duration. Stamped on the backplate of the movement with the Lenzkirch stamp and serial number, which dates the clock to 1884-85. Height 32cm, length 16cm and depth 10 and a half cm
