Antique pair of Regency candlesticks in patinated bronze and marble. Typical neo classical style set upon a white marble socle with bronze banding. The subject that of a pair of "baiting" Eagles, beautifully modelled, cast and finished with vipers in their mouths. (these are often missing) Finely worked feathers and knurling. English circa 1805-1810
