Set on a square base with ormolu mouldings , and ormolu mounts of a sun burst face surrounded by 4 ormolu starts. The sides of the case with ormolu garland wreaths. The immensely strong figure of the kneeling Atlas holds the ormolu clock orb in his arms. Fine ormolu bezel surrounds the white enamel dial with roman numerals, and breguet style moon hands. The fine eight day single fusee movement with flat bottomed plates and original chain fusee and platform lever escapement.
