An extremely pretty sub miniature carriage clock. The cream coloured enamel decoration to front, sides and top. Overlaying the enamel are hand painted flowers, in red and lemon yellow enamel. The large yellow enamel dial, with the hours marked, in roman numerals in red enamel, and the intervals with gilt dots. The fine, 8 day, 3/4 quarter plate movement. The inside back of the case is numbered 2326, whilst the underside of the case is numbered 2326, Argent, with silver content mark 0.925. The back of the case with two silver import marks of swans, for France, and the makers mark Z B in a lozenge for Zenith, which is also written on the back. Below this is an inscription in french, where it was retailed. 4.5cm High, Swiss, circa 1910
