A very fine antique sub miniature silver and guilloche carriage clock By the Geneva Clock Company, in original silk lined leather case. This extremely pretty case, of waisted form, the grey guilloche enamel in superb condition, with floral highlights on all four sides, and three very pretty, hand painted enamel scenes, the fron showing a couple fishing by a lake, with boat pulled up. The fine 8 day, three quarter plate movement, the small round white enamel dial with Roman numerals and outer Arabic numeral chapter ring. The base stamped ‘SWISS Sterling G.C Co’, numbered ‘4860’ and bearing London import mark for 1913, the hinged silver back plate revealing movement numbered ‘12448’, in gilt tooled leather fitted case, enclosing key in compartment behind, height 5.3cm.
