A fine French statuary marble figure of a child sitting upon a cushioned pedestal playing a lute. Very well carved, and signed in the marble by the French sculpture, E. Barrias, for Louis-Ernest Barrias. (1841-1905) A very fine sculpture, in 1865, Barrias won the Prix de Rome. French circa 1870 63.5cm High, 28cm Deep
