A most unusual silver and green guilloche enamel sub miniature carriage clock. The case or arched form with bracket feet. Silver engine turned with a brickwork pattern and with fields of green enamel overlaid. Pretty enamel dial with gilt star to centre, Roman numeral hour markers in black and gilt hands. 8 day, 3/4 plate movement with lever escapement. Underside of the case marked G.A.S. for the maker George Adam Scheid, and Austrian silversmith and jeweler. And 900 silver content mark. Inside of the backdoor is also marked for the makers.
