An extremely attractive silver minute repeating miniature boudoir or carriage clock by Cartier. The silver case decorated on all sides with wonderful engraved work of the highest quality. Set upon an agate base with beveled edges. The rear with dust covers for the winding holes, the very fine 8 day, jeweled lever escapement movement is numbered 2122, and signed for the famous company Nocturne, from Geneva, switzerland. Atop the case is the sapphire cabochon, pushing the button, the clock repeats the hours, then quarters, then finally minutes on a gong. The fine bezel, with beeding work, and the lovely crisp white enamel dial, the arabic numerals marking the hours, and with gorgeous diamond set hands.
