A very fine antique sub miniature silver and guilloche carriage clock. This extremely pretty case, of waisted form, the grey guilloche enamel ith floral highlights on all four sides, and three very pretty, hand painted enamel scenes. What is stunning is the way the engine turning technique has been applied to the screen to create a stunning sunset effect when turned in the light. The skill shown here is superb. The underside of the case numbered and stamped Argent and with silver content mark 9.355. The fine 8 day, three quarter plate movement, the small round white enamel dial with arabic numerals and minutes marked in gilt dots. Swiss circa 1910. 5cm High
