Antique Palais Royal mother of pearl and ormolu inkwell depicting Cupid. Set upon a fine ormolu base with four ormolu feet, with the very finely engraved mother of pearl base sitting on this. In the centre sits a finely detailed Cupid, holding a vase infront, for the ink and the sander sitting upon his back. Four ormolu pen holdings surround Cupid. Original ormolu and perfect engraved mother of pearl. France circa 1815. 12cm High by 13.5cm long and 9.3cm deep
