A very fine Swiss silver and purple guilloche enamel miniature boudoir or travel clock retailed by Aspreys and in its original Aspreys brown leather and silk lined case. The rectangular case with purple grey wavy guilloche enamel, the stepped block feet with foliate scrolls. The 2.5cm white enamel dial signed 'Asprey New Bond Street London, and Swiss Made' black Roman numerals, gold dot minute index and blued steel spade hands. The interior of the case gilt, numbered 71 and stamped with London silver import mark and 925 silver content mark. The Swiss 8 day timepiece movement with lever platform escapement, numbered 12532. The underside of the case stamped 4671, signed JTC, for the Geneva Clock Company within a cartouche, sponsors mark of CG within a shield, London import mark, silver content mark 925 and date mark for 1911. In a brown leather covered lined travel case from Asprey, 166 Bond St., London, with hidden key compartment. 5.2cm High, by 3.1cm wide and 2cm deep.
