A very pretty silver gilt guilloche enamel sub miniature carriage or boudoir clock of unusual colour, eau de nil, a superb colour that has a gorgeous fleuressence that changes in the light. The enamel in superb condition report fine engine turned patterns. The large oval dial with arabic numerals and gold dot minute markers is signed Zenith, for the maker, and Swiss made. The underside of clock marked no. 5545, Argent, 0.925 silver content, and Sterling silver, with rampant bear Swiss silver mark. The inside back door also marked with Swiss rampant bear silver mark and No. 5545 and Swiss made mark. The fine 8 day, 3 quarter plate movement numbered 161560, Zenith W.
