A most unusual silver and green guilloche enamel sub miniature carriage clock. The case or arched form with bracket feet. Silver engine turned with a brickwork pattern and with fields of green enamel overlaid. Pretty enamel dial with gilt star to centre, Roman numeral hour markers in black and gilt hands. 8 day, 3/4 plate movement with lever escapement. Underside of the case marked G.A.S. for the maker George Adam Scheid, a Austrian silversmith and jeweller, who worked in Vienna and Stuttgart and retired by 1911. And 900 silver content mark, and Austrian silver mark. Circa 1905 2.25 inches high by 1 inch wide by .75 inches deep ( 5.625 cm by 2.5 cm by 1.875 cm)
